Is your jewellery waterproof?
Yes — completely. All Leila & Bloom pieces are made with a titanium core and thick 18K gold fill, making them fully waterproof. Wear them in the shower, gym, pool, and ocean.
What is 18K gold filled? Is it the same as gold plated?
No — they are very different. Gold plated has a microscopically thin layer that wears off quickly. Gold filled has a much thicker gold layer (legally at least 5% of the item's total weight) that is mechanically bonded to the base metal. Our pieces will not flake, chip, or tarnish under normal conditions.
Is your jewellery safe for sensitive skin?
Absolutely. All pieces are hypoallergenic and nickel-free. The titanium core is one of the most skin-safe metals available — ideal for sensitive ears and skin.
How long will the gold last?
With proper care, your pieces should last many years. Avoid prolonged exposure to bleach, chlorine, and perfume to maximise the life of the gold fill.
How do I care for my jewellery?
- Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wearing
- Store in a cool, dry place — the box provided is ideal
- Remove before swimming in heavily chlorinated pools
- Avoid contact with perfume, hairspray, and harsh chemicals
How long does shipping take?
Canada: 5–10 business days. United States: 5–8 business days. International: 10–20 business days. All orders ship within 1–2 business days.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship to most countries worldwide via Canada Post with tracking. International customers are responsible for any local customs duties or import taxes.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email hello@leilaandbloom.com immediately. We process orders quickly and cannot guarantee changes once an order has shipped.
What is your return policy?
We offer 30-day exchanges on all items. We do not offer refunds for change of mind, but will happily exchange for a different size or style. Defective or damaged items are replaced or fully refunded.
How do I find my ring size?
Visit our Ring Size Guide page for a full sizing chart and instructions. If you're between sizes, size up. Email us if you need help.
Is the packaging gift-ready?
Yes — every order arrives in our signature gift box at no extra charge. Add a personal message at checkout in the order notes.
